The Native Women’s Leadership Program offers leadership training workshops for Native young women, women, and elder women leaders who wish to increase their knowledge and skills to serve on boards and committees in city and county agencies (including women’s commissions), non-profit organizations, corporations, philanthropies, and Tribes in California.

Currently, there is great interest among local and county agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations, philanthropies, Tribes, and other entities in California in recruiting Native young women, women, and elder women leaders onto their boards and committees.

Therefore, the Native Women’s Leadership Program will also offer culturally sustaining training workshops for companies, agencies, or organizations to learn more about how to consult with Native young women, women, and elder women leaders when recruiting them to their boards and committees.
